Clinical Supervision

Clinical Supervision is an integral part of effective and ethical clinical practice. It is meant to help you develop and grow your clinical knowledge and skills, increase and enhance self-reflective capacity, identify and address issues around transference and counter-transference, and increase your sense of confidence and competence.

Individual Supervision

Group Supervision

I offer clinical supervision services to Registered Social Workers (RSWs) and Registered Psychotherapists (RPs).

Supervision Experience and Training

I began providing clinical supervision in September 2015 as a field instructor for the University of Toronto’s Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work (FIFSW). Since opening my private practice in 2018 I have been offering individual supervision to Registered Social Workers and Registered Psychotherapists and provided field supervision to SSW students at Centennial College.

I have engaged in supervision training at the FIFSW, SickKids Center for Community Mental Health, and through individual supervision consultation.

Individual Supervision

Individual supervision sessions are one hour in length and provide an opportunity for clinicians to consult on individual cases, clinical approaches, theoretical applications, and on growing one’s private practice.

Group Supervision

For Child and Family Therapists

Group supervision sessions are one to two hours depending on the number of participants (maximum 4) and are geared towards clinicians working with children, adolescents, and families. Group supervision provides an opportunity to consult on one client a session, support colleagues by reflecting and providing feedback on their clinical inquiries, and will support the development of a practice community.
