This may include emotion regulation, self-esteem, feelings of not being good enough, anxiety, depression, or other areas of need. I offer individual therapy to children, teenagers, and adults. When working with children, I believe it’s important for the parents or guardians to be involved in the process as much as possible. This will support conversations and strategies learned in therapy to continue outside of sessions. Your children may be experiencing big feelings or difficult behaviour and you are not sure how best to help them. Parent counselling is a place just for you to identify and address personal struggles, explore parenting strategies to support your children and teens with behaviour change and emotion regulation, or to work on communication between partners.
